RE: UPDATED FUNCTIONALITY WITHIN FINIX
Thank you to all our merchants for your patience and cooperation during the transition to our new processing partner, FINIX.
We would like to take this opportunity to communicate some changes that will affect your day-to-day payment processing. They are as follows:
Changes
- Batch Out Time - Daily automated batch out timing is now 7pm to 7pm PST (was previously 10pm to 10pm EST).
- Voids - Same day Voids are no longer available - refunds will only be for full/partial base transaction amounts and will not include any portion of load fees.
- Payment Profiles – Merchants who have existing active Payment Profiles will be required to re-enter customer credit card information for the new payment processor, FINIX.
- Deposits – Deposits will now show Misc Payment/Finix/Merchant Name.
- Refunds – Refunds for transactions processed prior to January 15th (through the old payment processor) can no longer be completed. Customers will need to be refunded through an alternative method.
New Feature
- AMEX and Discover - All merchant customers now have access to AMEX and Discover credit cards in addition to Visa and Mastercard.
- AMEX Deposits – Will be deposited with Visa and Mastercard transactions
